feature film

ROLE:
EDITOR

I was one of the editors in the editorial team of my first feature film, which meant that I was able to help craft the film in pre-vis, work on set with the production crew to help solve and overcome some last minute hurdles, and also oversee the edit during post-production.

We delivered a feature film which later premiered at the prestigious SXSW festival, and then a cinematic release in both the US and UK in May 2026.

With the director Ronan Corrigan making his directorial debut at the same time as co-writing the script with Hope Elliot Kemp, the film went on to be executive produced by Michael Fassbender and nominated for multiple BIFA awards for:

  • Best Editing

  • Best Debut Screenwriter

  • Breakthrough Producer

  • Breakthrough Performance

My first feature film could not have had a better combination of subject, genre, crew and director.

As a screenlife genre film, a lot of the story was told through a complex mixture of animation and live action, as if we were watching the protagonist Kyle’s computer desktop.

Ronan described this film as a love letter to his years growing up on the internet alongside gaming and socialising with friends online, so it was so great to work so closely with him and apply my combined experience of post-production, motion design and knowledge of computer science and technology to help with some of the tech-based narrative moments, as well as helping to set up some of the production tools and laptops that the cast and production team would use to capture takes on set.
